  • 500 grams of chicken pieces
  • 1 cup of tomato puree

  • 1/4 cup of yogurt
  • 1/4 cup of cream
  • 2 tablespoons of oil
  • 2 tablespoons of butter
  • 1 tablespoon of ginger-garlic paste
  • 1/2 tablespoon of coriander powder
  • 1/2 tablespoon of red chili powder
  • 1/2 tablespoon of cumin powder
  • 1/2 tablespoon of garam masala powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Fresh coriander leaves (for garnish)

Preparation:

  1. Begin by heating a pan and adding oil and butter. Once hot, add finely chopped onions and sauté them until they turn golden brown.
  2. Add ginger-garlic paste to the pan and cook until the raw aroma disappears.
  3. Now, add tomato puree to the pan and mix in coriander powder, red chili powder, cumin powder, garam masala powder, and salt. Cook this mixture until the oil starts to separate.
  4. Next, add yogurt and cream to the mixture and stir well.
  5. Now, add the chicken pieces and cook them slowly until they are fully cooked and tender.
  6. Your Butter Chicken is ready! Garnish it with fresh coriander leaves and serve it hot.
